A quaint beachfront resort set on a private and secluded tropical island only 10 minutes from Santo’s capital Luganville. Aore Island Resort is 11km long by 9km wide and the resort is built on a flat coastal area surrounded by working cattle and coconut plantations. On the upper level there is natural untouched rainforest, a botanical wonderland with huge banyan trees. Guests can wander safely alone or join a guided tour which is amazing at night where fire flies dance through the trees.

Aore Island Resort offers comfortable well appointed bungalows built along the beach and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. There are 18 Bungalows consisting of 8 Studio Beachfront, 2 Studio Gardenview, 5 One bedroom Beachfront and 3 One Bedroom Gardenview and all include refrigerators, tea & coffee making facilities, irons, hairdryers and ceiling fans.
Location
A 10 minute drive from Santo airport to the resort’s ferry which is a leisurely 10 minute ride across the Segond Channel to the resort.
Activities
Enjoy a Melanesian massage, kayak, mountain bike through the tropical plantation, snorkel, horse ride, canoe in a traditional outrigger or fish the local reefs. Diving in Santo is world class and famous WW II sites including “SS President Coolidge” and “Million Dollar Point” are a short 20 minute boat trip from the resort.
Kids
Aore Island Resort welcomes kids year round and whilst no official kids club is offered there are plenty of activities to entertain.
