Situated on the coast near Fagamalo village, on the northern tip of Savaii lays Le Lagoto Resort. After Upolu, Savaii is Samoa’s second main island, and the third largest island in Polynesia after Tahiti and New Zealand. Located on a secluded white, sandy beach fringed by coconut palms and crystal clear waters, Le Lagoto is a boutique resort which offers all the modern conveniences of a large resort in an intimate, idyllic setting.
Each of Le Lagoto’s 5 Beach Front Bungalows & 5 Ocean View Bungalows feature air conditioning, queen-sized beds, private bathroom with hot water shower , mosquito nets (request basis) , comfortable chairs , mirror, writing bench, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, television, IDD telephone, reading Lamps, hair dryer , ironing facilities, safe deposit & sun loungers and chairs on outside room balcony.
Savaii, one of Polynesia’s most uninhabited and unspoilt islands, is a treasure trove of natural, historical and cultural offerings. Optional day tours can include feeding & swimming with massive turtles in a freshwater sanctuary, exploring the Saleaula Lava Field or the unique Mauga Village built around the rim of an extinct volcanic crater, swimming at the Afu Aau Waterfalls, exploring the Peapea Cave or visiting a plantation to sample traditional Samoan foods and learn how they are farmed.
The resort is located opposite the PADI registered dive shop Dive Savaii, the only dive center on the island of Savaii.
Guests may also choose to relax at the resort’s spa “Bodyworks”
Getting to Le Lagoto is easy with a one hour ferry ride to Savai’i and a 45 minute scenic coastal drive in the resort’s 16 seat air-conditioned van from Salelologa wharf.
Children are welcome at Le Lagoto however there is no Kids Club (child minding can be arranged).
