Situated on the island of Malolo Lailai, Musket Cove Island Resort is just 15 Kilometres west of Nadi in the Mamanuca islands. It is set amongst 600 acres of tropical gardens and boasts 12 kms of sandy beach access. Sharing 600 acres with neighbouring Plantation Island Resort & Lomani Island Resort, guests are welcome to use the other resort’s dining options.
Musket Cove overlooks a sheltered lagoon, which is a haven for visiting yachts from around the world. The resort prides itself on its range of activities, especially those involving yachts and boats.
The island resort offers a well stocked boutique, Trader Store, restaurant & bars, barbecues, resident band, swimming pool, Musket Cove Yacht Club, marina and boat harbour, plus many additional services including laundry, baby-sitting, etc. With over 100 friendly Fijian staff at your beck & call Musket Cove’s mantra is “Romance, Relax, Rejuventate”.
Accommodation
Musket Cove has a range of accommodation to suit everyone from romantic Beachfront bures perfect for honeymoon couples, large 2 bedroom Villas for families or groups, spacious Garden Bures for those wishing to experience the island lifestyle & basic hotel rooms each with hairdryers, in-room safes, iron and ironing board, CD/radios.
Villas have a fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, VCR, TV. All Beachfront, Lagoon and Garden Bures have a breakfast bar and are fan cooled. Air-conditioned hotel rooms have fridge & tea/ coffee facilities.
Activities
There is plenty to do on Musket Cove including windsurfing, row-boats, scuba dive lessons, snorkelling trips, water-skiing, hobie cat sailing, outrigger canoeing & game fishing. Play 9 holes atnearby Plantation Island’s golf course or visit the shell market at the local village. Musket Cove has a fleet of power boats which make access to nearby resorts both easy and inexpensive. Guests can also enjoy hiking to secluded beaches with a picnic basket, or even charter a yacht or a motor cruiser.
Location
Musket Cove’s close proximity to Nadi International Airport allows quick and easy access by boat, aeroplane (including Seaplane) and helicopter to the Resort. The resorts dedicated ferry, the Malolo Cat, operates 4 regular scheduled services to the Resort. With pick-ups from Nadi Airport and local Nadi Hotels, it’s then an easy 60 minute transfer to Musket Cove Island Resort
Kids
Children 15 years and under are free when sharing with adults.
Children under the age of 5 years are not permitted in the Lagoon Bures or the Armstrong Island Villas due to the over water veranda feature. Musket Cove will permit children between the ages of 5 and 15 years to stay in either accommodation provided a waiver is signed at the time of booking. No children under the age of 15 years are permitted in the Beachfront Bures.
