Located on a large island of 12,350 acres, Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is tucked amongst the palms on this remote island with just 18 thatched bures offering complete solitude and absolute luxury. Accommodation
Yasawa Island Resort and Spa has 6 Bure Suites, 10 Deluxe Bures, 1 Two Bedroom Bure “Drodrolagi” and a premium bure “Loma-lagi”. Each air-conditioned bure is superbly fitted out in contemporary Fijian style – featuring local timbers, traditional art, thatched roofs, overhead fans and timber plantation shutters to bring in the sea breezes. Each has its own thatched beach hut, a pair of shaded day-beds on a timber deck, outdoor showers and a hammock strung between the palms. All bures are equipped with CD player, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, iron/ironing board, double vanities, separate toilets, walk in robes, hairdryer, locked security drawer, ISD telephone, outdoor hot/cold shower.
“Drodrolagi” is superbly located high on the Southern end of the Resort with breathtaking views to the north. It is a spacious modern Bure with two large bedrooms, each with private facilities & a large living area. Each bedroom has private access to a large timber sundeck equipped with day beds.
“Loma-lagi” is a private split level Bure tucked away at the end of a secluded beach, 500 metres from the main resort. With it’s own private plunge pool, plus an expansive patio overlooking private beach, this is Yasawa at it’s most sublime. Extras include complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, Lomalagi perfume, floral arrangements and turn down complimentaries. Also includes the use of a CD collection and Valet driver service for transport to and from the “Bure Levu” (restaurant).
Activities
Enjoy a romantic picnic on one of 11 deserted beaches, sail a catamaran or sailboard, visit the local villages, hit the tennis courts, or succumb to a massage. Try game fishing in the resort’s purpose-built boat (additional charge), or take a launch to the caves and coves made famous in the classic movie The Blue Lagoon. The swimming pool at Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is irresistible and is a great way to cool off in the middle of a hot afternoon.
Watersports include scuba diving (additional charge), snorkelling in the clear blue waters around the island, Kayaks, paddleboats, windsurfers and a catamaran.
Location
Situated in the northern Yasawa Islands, Yasawa Island Resort and Spa is a 35 minute air transfer from Nadi, departing at approx 14.00 hrs & returning at approx 15.15 hrs. Yasawa is serviced with its own air-strip and all transfers are operated by the Resort. Seaplane & Helicopter charters are also available.
Kids
Children 12 and over are welcome at the Resort all year. Children under 12 are welcome at specified periods through the year coinciding with most Australian school holidays (April, June/July, September/October & December/January). A child-friendly programme of activities is offered during Family Weeks but there is no formal “Kids Club”.
